BGCMP Welcomes Marcia Mintz as New Ceo

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix (BGCMP), serving Phoenix and the West Valley, is pleased to announce Marcia Mintz as its new Chief Executive Officer. Mintz was selected by BGCMP’s Board of Directors following an extensive national search.

“We are excited to have Marcia lead BGCMP into the future,” says Kevin McHolland, BGCMP board chair. “Her extensive experience in serving charitable organizations at all program, fundraising, executive and leadership levels – as well as her deep sense of commitment to the Valley’s nonprofit sector - stood out among an impressive group of candidates.”

Mintz joins BGCMP with more than 20 years of non-profit leadership experience. Most recently, she served as the president of the John C. Lincoln Health Foundation and senior vice president of community benefit programs and services at HonorHealth.

Mintz will replace Amy Gibbons, who is retiring on December 30, 2016, after serving BGCMP for 18 years.

Double Tree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley - Scottsdale

For more than 20 years, the DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Hotel Paradise Valley-Scottsdale has donated and served a Thanksgiving meal to the Club members and families of the Warner A. Gabel Branch.
